A lot more needs to be cut from the 2006 Municipal Budget in Dryden according a report from Treasurer Linda McNaughton.
She told Council Monday nite the deficit would be some $825,000 if the document were to be approved now with no further trimming.
Among the fixed costs that Council has no say in are $100,000 for wage increases under labour contracts already negotiated, & 190,000 for airport operations.
As in past years, the public showed little interest in the Budget with former Mayors Sid Wintle & Bill Salonen the only ones to show up.
Dryden Budget work continues
