A celebration was held in Dryden today, bringing together partners in Aboriginal Housing.
Executive Director of Ontario Aboriginal Housing Services Don McBain says they are developing new housing in Sioux Lookout and Red Lake.
McBain says they have increased the number of units in the area to well over 100, but that’s no where near enough.
There are currently over 100 families on the waiting list for affordable housing in Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Red Lake.
