A despicable act of vandalism.
Two days after a joyful ceremony at the site of the new Dryden Centennial Mosaic, someone has spray painted all over the 4 by 8 sculpture.
Artist Willenne Moffatt says she’s absolutely devastated.
Black spray paint now covers the Mosaic, including a streak right down the Olympic torch tile.
The extent of the damage is not known.
Moffatt says 15-artists spent over 2,000 hours building the Mosaic.
The City of Dryden is in the process of cleaning the mess.
Dryden Police are investigating.
