An update on the planned closure of the Dryden Police Services Communications Centre will be provided tonight.
A public meeting is being held at 6:30 at the Ontario Aboriginal Housing Services building on 24 Duke Street.
An overview of the application to close the Com. Centre as well as the new 911 dispatch model for the City by the Owen Sound Police Service will be provided.
The next steps will also be discussed.
Residents will have the opportunity to speak at the meeting.
Police Chief Rob Davis, Owen Sound Police Chief Bill Sornberger and Dryden Police Services Board legal counsel Bob Edwards will be in attendance.
