Dryden’s City Manager is asking Councilors to take a close, hard look
at the numbers as Staff struggle to trim the annual Budget.
Arie Hoogenboom is seeking input and for Council to set a proposed tax
rate.
Hoogenboom says a number of options have to be examined.
Council has indicated they want to maintain current services, take on
no additional long-term debt and to set a minimal tax increase.
The City is facing a 2.3% hike in the Municipal Levy from the
Northwestern Health Unit and is waiting on other outside agency’s.
