Dryden City Council meets tonight and the community doctor shortage crisis is bound to be a hot topic.
Hundreds of people packed the Dryden Legion for a Dryden Cares Committee meeting last week that examined the city health care situation.
Hundreds more were turned away due to fire code regulations.
Dryden Mayor Sid Wintle says he cannot promise when council will make a decision to address the shortage but assures residents it will be dealt with as soon as possible.
Wintle adds it is an important and complex issue that must be addressed in both the short and long term.
