One Dryden Councillor is promising to hold everyone accountable when Council resumes sitting in the New Year.
Shayne MacKinnon says he has lofty ideals and goals that he wants to see addressed immediately.
MacKinnon says Dryden is built on strong values and he will ensure those are held up at every single Council meeting.
MacKinnon says he’s worried about their financial recovery, but he’s more concerned about the well-being of all residents and those who frequent the community.
He says we have to attract families by enhancing their recreational facilities and infrastructure as well as support our seniors.
MacKinnon notes the City must recognize the advantages of being a diverse and welcoming community that can assist anyone who lives here or wants to live here.
He adds the City needs to recognize that the community can’t and won’t survive without the great work of volunteers.
