Dryden Curlers Off to Nationals

Three Dryden residents are headed to B.C. to compete in the National Wheelchair Curling Championship.
Mark Wherrett, Chester Draper and Cindy Hoffstrom joined Kenora’s Wayne Ficek to win the Northern Ontario Provincial title in Kenora.
The foursome defeated the Leveque rink from Thunder Bay in the Championship Game.
The game came down to the final stone and a measurement before the local rink was declared the winner.
Wherrett, Draper, Hoffstrom and Ficek head to Kelowna next month for the Canadian championships.
