Summer is in full swing but today is the first ‘Dryden Days of Summer’.
The community event showcases local businesses, artists, entertainers and activities.
Spokesperson Suzanne Scherban is encouraging everyone to come out.
‘Dryden Days of Summer’ will be held from 3:00 until 7:00 and King Street will be closed during that time.
The event is being held every Thursday until mid-August.
A full list of weekly activities will be posted on the ‘Dryden Days of Summer’ Facebook page and CKDR will keep you updated on all events.
Here is the Thursday, July 4th line-up.
3-6 P.A.C.E. Kids Invent! Toy building activities for children and youth on King Street.
3-7 Lion’s Club Truck/Boat Ticket Sales on King Street.
3-7 By Our Hands exhibit at Dryden District Museum. Free admission. Donations are accepted.
3-7 Food Vendors on King Street and Earl’s Court.
3-7 Artisan Fair on King Street.
5-6 Vesna Dancers. Ukrainian Dance Demonstration on King Street.
7-8 Moosefest Spirit Walk at the Dryden Cemetery.
7-9 Moosefest Music Series in Cooper Park.
