Dryden Deer Committee Planning To Present Recommendations

The Dryden Deer Committee is continuing its work.

Chief Administrative Officer Ernie Remillard is confirming that the volunteer committee is nearing the end of its mandate.

Remillard says a list of recommendations to deal with the urban deer population will be presented to Council likely in March.

He stresses they have received great input from the public, police and the province.

Remillard adds the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has pledged to work with Council to provide stats and research on the local deer population, as well as advice.
