Dryden Doctor Bruce Cook says he’s frustrated with a provincial hold-up to allow him work in the community on a full time basis.
CKDR News reported this week that the Government is freezing applications for doctors wanting to join Family Health Teams.
Cook says he was excited to come to Dryden and help the community, but it’s been difficult to work with patients and see them on a regular basis.
He says he signed a service agreement roughly 5-weeks ago and stresses the roadblock is effecting him and his family.
