Dryden Dolphins End Swim Season On A High Note

A successful end to the 2017-2018 swim season for the Dryden Dolphins.

11 swimmers competed at the 2018 First General Thunderbolts Grand Prix that happened from Friday to Sunday.

The competition had approximately 250 athletes from 16 clubs representing Northeastern and Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and Minnesota.

Highlights of the Dolphins performances are listed below:

12 and Under Swimmers:

Adam Millard – posted a personal best time in the 50m Backstroke

Kylee Huckell – improved her personal best and placed 4th in the 200m Freestyle

Teanna MacKay – posted a personal best in the 50m Breaststroke

Taylor Millard – posted a personal best time in the 100m Breaststroke

Ella Morris – improved her personal best in the 200m Individual Medley

Madelyn Parenteau – improved her personal best in the 100m Backstroke

Joella Robinson – improved her personal best in the 100m Freestyle

Saveta Solomon – improved her personal best and placed 8thin the 50m Freestyle

Summer St.Goddard – posted a personal best and placed 9th in the 100m Butterfly

13 and Over Swimmers:

Jordan Chwastyk – competed in finals for every race she had entered. Her best race was her 100m Breaststroke where she placed 10th overall.

Victoria Owen – competed in finals for every race she had entered. Her best race was her 100m Backstroke where she placed 8th overall.
