domtar is clearing up some confusion surrounding the upcoming downtime
at the dryden mill.
starting December 1st, the paper mill will be temporarily shut down, effecting 200-employees.
spokesperson bonnie skene says for the past few months, the company has been operating for 3-weeks and then taking 3-weeks of downtime.
skene says during the downtime they will be monitoring market conditions.

meantime, the soaring canadian dollar could force domtar to make some
difficult decisions.
president raymond royer says the company will continue to review best
practises and the loonie and their impact on canadian operations.
