The Dryden OPP have arrested two people as a result of a drug bust earlier this week.

On Wednesday, just after noon, police conducted a traffic stop as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

The OPP say they seized cocaine and some Canadian currency.

A 50-year-old Dryden and a 26-year-old from Ignace have been arrested.

Only the Dryden resident has been charged with drug trafficking and appeared in court yesterday for a bail hearing.

The Ignace resident has been charged with possession and will appear in Dryden court on June 8th.
