Despite a great hustle, the Dryden Eagles Football Team lost their match to the Kelvin Clippers 9-7 at the Harry McMaster Field.
It began as a defensive battle which lead to the Clippers getting a field goal and leading the game 3-0.
Later in the match the Dryden Eagles scored a touchdown with a 1-point conversion taking the lead 7-3.
The Clippers offense eventually powered through in the late game however scoring a touchdown leading to the final score of 9-7.
Dryden Eagles Head Coach Geoff Zilkans says the Clippers are a very good and physical football team and the wind played a major factor as well.
The Eagles will be on the road next week to Brandon for their next game against the Vincent Massey High School Vikings, game time will be 4pm.
