Dryden Eagles Junior Teams Headed To NorWOSSA Final

At least two more teams will be joining the Dryden Eagles Senior Boys Volleyball team in the NorWOSSA Final.

The Junior Girls Basketball team and the Junior Boys Volleyball team both booked their ticket to the championship with impressive wins Tuesday morning at DHS.

Mandy Tourond opened the game with a three pointer and the Eagles never looked back in a 37-15 victory over the Beaver Brae Broncos.

Jessie Pettinger took over the game with 11-points in the second quarter and finished with 14.

Dryden will face the Fort Frances Muskies in the Gold medal game at 3:45.

The Boys Volleyball team dropped the first set in their game against the Muskies but rebounded with three straight wins in a four set victory in the Semi-Final. (22-25, 25-17, 25-11, 25-10)

Next up for the Eagles is Beaver Brae in the 2:00 final.

The Senior Girls Basketball team is on the court now.
