Dryden’s Emergency department will stay open this weekend.
The Dryden Regional Health Centre was able to fill vacant shifts in the ER, allowing the facility to operate on a normal basis throughout Saturday and Sunday. C.E.O. Wade Petranik is asking for the communities support.
The hospital may have to temporarily shut down the ER in the future, if they can not find physicians to fill vacant shifts. The next vacant shifts are November 17th, 22nd and 28th.
