Dryden Expecting Recylcing Costs to Go Up

A poor economic climate is forcing Northwestern Ontario Municipalities to pay more to ship their recycled materials away.
The Winnipeg based firm that takes material from Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances is increasing its costs from $30 to $60 per tonne.
Dryden’s Director of Public Works and Engineering Mike Louttit says the City will be impacted financially and notes they will likely look at a plan to deal with the rising costs next month.
