A stinging loss for the Dryden Eagles Boys High School Hockey team.
The Eagles put themselves behind the eight ball in the race for a favourable playoff spot with a 3-2 loss to the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints Wednesday in Kenora.
Dryden fell behind 3-0 before Ryan Hron and Trey Palermo scored to launch a furious comeback bid.
The Eagles out shot the Saints 36-25.
Co-Coach Darryl Mousseau says his team needs to compete for a full 60-minutes.
Dryden was 0-7 on the power-play.
