Dryden Fire #79 Still Out of Control

A 2,600 hectare fire, southwest of Vermilion Bay, is still
classed as out-of-control and not contained.
Ministry of Natural Resources Fire Crews have been batteling the
stubborn blaze since July 19th.
Information Officer Travis Moffatt says firefighters have been making
some headway.
Moffatt says an Emergency Order remains in effect, meaning access to
areas around the fire may be restricted.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
3-new fires were reported Thursday, 2 in the Dryden District and 1
in Fort Frances.
All of the lightning caused fires were quickly contained.
