Dryden Fire Busy With Collisions

Motorists are reminded to take it easy on area roads.

The Dryden Fire Service was called into action on two separate occassions the past couple of days.

On Friday morning, crews responded to a single vehicle collision on Elm Bay Road.

A car left the road and went into the ditch.

Three people were able to escape, while one person was transported to hospital with injuries.

Saturday morning, multiple units were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Highway 17, several kilometres past the Dinorwic Highway 72 intersection.

A car hit a rock cut and the driver was transported to hospital for treatment.

The Dryden Fire Service, Wabigoon Fire, Dryden Police, OPP and paramedics were all involved in either one or two of the incidents.

Both crashes are under investigation.
