Dryden Fire is Out

One of Drydens oldest buildings has been gutted thanks to an early morning blaze.
The fire that completly destroyed the Confederation College campus in Dryden is out after crews spent over 3-hours trying to control the stubborn blaze.
The Dryden Fire Service was called to the scene around 4:45 after a passer-by noticed smoke coming from the building.
The fire continued to smoulder until well after the noon hour.
Dryden Deputy Fire Chief Ken Kurz says it is believed an electrical malfunction caused the blaze.
Kurz says it started in a main floor classroom.
No one was injured.
