A busy couple of days for the Dryden Fire Service.
Firefighters responded to 5-emergency calls in the span of 4-days.
Residents of a Princess Street 2-unit apartment were evacuated after a dryer was found smoking in the basement.
Firefighters quickly handled the situation.
A Mary Avenue apartment was also evacuated due to smoke but firefighters couldn’t find any fire.
The Fire Service also dealt with a couple of false alarms and rescued an injured person from a second storey balcony at a St. Charles Street apartment.
