Dryden Fire Service Open House A Huge Success

A huge turnout at the Dryden Fire Service “Fire Prevention Week” open house.
Information Officer Reagan Breeze says it was great to see so many people come out on Wednesday.
Breeze says one thing that really engaged the public was the turkey-fryer fire demonstration.
He adds that many people don’t fully understand the ramifications of having deep fryers in garages and other enclosed spaces.

The Dryden Fire Service is also reminding people to test their smoke alarms and make sure they are up to date.
Breeze says the average life-span of a smoke alarm is 10-years.
