The City of Dryden has been recognized for its Geographic Information System.
The Municipality received the ESRI Canada’s Award of Excellence at the Regional User Conference in Thunder Bay last week.
The award was presented to City officials to recognize Dryden’s determination in overcoming a number of challenges to fully-integrate GIS throughout the municipality.
Dryden has been working non-stop to implement GIS since its initial vision in 2003.
Officials note a number of people were involved in the complex project.
