The Dryden GM “Double Up” promotion is back for another year.
Individuals and non-profit organizations can visit the dealership and make a cash donation for Christmas Cheer and for every dollar brought in, owner Nick Beyak will match it.
Susan Brownlee and Trevor Szmon were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Tuesday.
Szmon says the deadline for donations is December 12th, noting that will give Christmas Cheer time to purchase food and toys for the seasonal hampers.
Brownlee says the community has been nothing but generous in the past.
Brownlee notes in year number one of the campaign, a total of roughly $7,200 was raised, increasing to $15,000 the second year, and just over $20,000 last year.
She is hoping to surpass that figure in 2018.
Tax receipts will be handed out for every donation over $20.
Dryden GM is also encouraging schools and classrooms to get involved with their own events and activities.
