The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are teaming up with the Hoshizaki House Friday night in honour of International Day to End Violence Against Women.
Dryden GM hosts the Fort Frances Lakers, and all fans are being encouraged to wear purple to show their support.
Ice Dogs players will all be wearing purple socks to support the cause.
Game time is 7:30 at the Memorial Arena.
Meantime, the English River Miners are on the road in Thunder Bay for a two game series.
Game 1 is tonight at 6:30.
