The Dryden Ice Dogs are off to a 3-0 start.
Derek McPhail’s goal midway through the third was the difference as the Ice Dogs skated to a 4-2 win over the Fort Frances Lakers Wednesday night.
Josh Philley and Cole Golka also found the back of the net, while Chis Sitko iced the gam with an empty netter
Josh Martin was solid in net for the win making 27-saves.
Dryden GM is back on the ice Friday against Thunder Bay.
