Dryden is looking at going green with help from a national program.
The City has agreed to apply for $10,000 in funding under
the ‘Green Streets Canada’ initiative.
Director of Community Services Bill Latham says they hope to take
advantage of a national program to plant 210 trees by 2010.
The money would also be used for tree maintenance and pruning.
