The Dryden High School SAVE Group is holding “Pink Day” on Thursday, which promotes a bullying-free environment.
Student Counselor Patty Lyle says a band from Alberta called “Child’s Play” will be coming to the Centre to play a concert, which is titled “Bullying Sucks”.
Lyle says there will also be a community dance at the Centre, starting at 5:30.
Lyle adds that the main message they want to get out is for everyone to respect each other and show respect, no matter what life choices that person is making.
She notes there have been too many incidents throughout the country where someone has taken their own life after being bullied.
Activities are also taking place at Ignace Public School.
