The Dryden Hockey School is returning to the Memorial Arena after a one year break due to COVID.
The camp runs from August 23 to 28.
Lead Instructor Randy Allen is encouraging kids to sign up today by calling the Rec. Centre at 223-1425 or 223-1430.
Registration is open for the Intermediate, Rookie, Pro Girls, Pro Boys and Goalie clinics.
Allen says there will be some changes this year.
“Usually we run about 30 kids per group but we’ve cut it back to 20 just for COVID sake and safety. Ease back into it. That way we can have the dressing room safe distance when were sitting. Lunches we can have a safe distance.”
Allen says the fun camp focuses on skills development.
He notes, “I’m looking forward to it. Its been awhile. It was a tough year last year with just a few practices here and there for a month or so. But it’s good to get back into it.”
Pro hockey player Kevin Raine and Eagles High School Girls Coach Brett Lobreau will also be on the ice as instructors.
