Dryden Hospital Losing It’s Surgeon

The Dryden Regional Health Centre is losing a key member of its team.
Dr. Peter Dawes has announced that he will be leaving the Hospital at the end of September, to accept a position with the Prince County Hospital in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
Dr. Dawes spent 8-years working at the Hospital and says its been one of the best surgical teams that he’s worked with.
He notes the move is the best option for him and his family.
The Hospital has started the recruitment of a full-time general surgeon and is in the process of arranging locum coverage to minimize the impact on local residents needing service.
