The Dryden Regional Health Centre is about 75% of the way to reaching its $170,000 goal to purchase a new Ultrasound Machine.
The Hospital has provided an update on the heels of a $10,000 donation from Trans Canada Pipelines.
Physician Recruiter Chuck Schmitt notes they also received another $10,000 from an annoymous donor.
Over 2,500 Ultrasound exams are performed annually at the Health Centre.
The Province doesn’t provide funding for equipment expenses.
