Dryden Hunting Trip Results In $10,000 Fine

A hunting trip in the Dryden area has ended up costing four Minnesota men a total of $10,000.

Bradley Kummer of Sauk Centre was fined for unlawfully hunting bull moose without a licence and discharging a firearm from a boat.

He has been banned from hunting in Ontario for two years.

Donald Kummer of Sauk Centre and Timothy Lawlinger of Sauk Centre were both fined for making false statements to a conservation officer.

Terrence Uphus of Melrose was fined for unlawfully attaching an adult game seal to a moose killed by another person and making false statements to a conservation officer.

Court heard that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry received a complaint on a tips line last October about hunters in Wildlife Management Unit 5.
