Another honor for Dryden Ice Dogs captain Jon Mitchell. Mitchell has been named a finalist for the RBC Canadian Junior Hockey League player of the year. Mitchell was named the SIJHL defenceman and player of the year this season and is up against seven other nominees from across Canada for the prestigious award. The Winner will be named Friday May 6th at the Royal Bank Cup awards banquet in Camrose, Alberta.
