Dryden Ice Dogs Guaranteed a Playoff Spot

For the first time in league history, every team will make the SIJHL
playoffs.
The league has changed its playoff format because of the addition of
the Fort Frances Sabres.
According to Dryden Ice Dog officials, the first place team will
receive an opening round bye.
The second place team will face number 7, number 3 will battle number
6 and the 4th place team will meet the number 5 team.
All first round series will be a Best-out-of 5.
The SIJHL season opens September 14th.
