Dryden Junior Girls Win Final Game

A perfect season for the Dryden Eagles Junior Girls Basketball team.

The ‘Blue and Gold’ played a season ending exhibition game in Kenora yesterday against the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints.

The Eagles trailed at the half but rallied to knock off the Saints 46-34.

Saveta Solomon led the way with 14.

Sophia Armit added 11, including the only two 3-pointers of the season.

Dryden finished the campaign with a 6-0 record.

The team was coached by Tim McKillop and Paul Darling.
