The Royal Canadian Legion in Dryden is gearing up for Remembrance Day ceremonies.
Ceremonies start at 10:15 at the Royal Canadian Legion, with the Cenotaph ceremony at 11.
Poppy donation boxes are at several locations in the community and Brian Buffett of the Legion is encouraging all residents to wear a poppy.
The sad part is four poppy donation boxes have been stolen from three locations in Dryden.
Buffett says this is the one time we can honour the courage and devotion of the men and women who died to keep our country free.
He adds a total of 117,000 Canadians have committed their lives since World War I and they should be remembered.
