Dryden resident charged following accident

A Dryden resident is scheduled to make a court appearance in September on an impaired driving charge.

Provincial Police says the 20-year-old was charged after they responded to a single vehicle collision west of Dryden on Sunday evening at around 8:45.

A vehicle spun out and hit the ditch on Highway 601 near Morton Road.

The driver was charged after failing a breath test.

They have since been released.
