Quite the accomplishment for a Dryden man.
Jamie Seeley recently participated in the IRONMAN competition in Louisville, Kentucky.
He finished in the middle of the pack out of some 3,200 participants.
It was a daunting task as Seeley first had to tackle a 3.8-kilometre swim in the Ohio River.
That was followed by a 180-kilometre bike ride through the rolling hills of the Kentucky farmland.
Seeley then tried to reach a personal best in the pancake flat marathon course.
He finished the race with a time of just over 14-hours.
