Dryden Mayor Applauds Fireworks Fundraiser

The number crunching is complete and more than $13,000 was raised in CKDR’s two week drive to secure fireworks on Canada Day.
$12,000 will be earmarked for July 1st fireworks this year and the rest will be set aside for fireworks next year.
Dryden Mayor Craig Nuttall thanked CKDR for the fundraising effort and stressed it shows there are lots of people and businesses that are concerned about Dryden.
In addition to the $13,000, there is still an extra $1,000 in outstanding pledges.
