Getting the City of Dryden back on track financially.
That goal will continue to be a priority in 2015 according to Mayor Craig Nuttall.
Nuttall says they are coming out of their debt load but notes it will still be a couple of years before they can say their home safe.
He notes “they have to cut the cloth to fit the pattern” and only spend the money they have.
Nuttall is also hoping for a smooth start to the new year.
The final two Council meetings of December had their fair share of debate and explosive moments.
Nutall says he would like Council to work closer together in 2015.
Nuttall adds they are close to getting staffing levels back to normal.
The City late this year was hit with the sudden departures of CAO Andre Larabie and Police Chief Rob Davis.
Nuttall says an Interim Chief will be in place January 5th and they continue to work on finding a suitable replacement for Larabie.
