Dryden Mayor Pleased With Meeting In Toronto

While Dryden has been faced with an up-hill battle, there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says the Northern Mayors Coalition is extremely pleased with the meeting they had with the Deputy Minister of Finance and the Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Monday in Toronto.
Nuttall says that the Deputy Ministers have agreed to work with the Coalition to address MPAC issues across the north.
In addition, Nuttall says that they were very understanding and took the time to listen to their concerns, even with the provincial budget coming down on Thursday.
Nuttall says that once a week, the ministers will set up a conference call with the Northern Coalition, which will hopefully lead to some resolution on some of the major issues.
He says this is a positive step for the City of Dryden.
