Dryden Mayor Wants To See A Solution

Dryden Mayor Craig Nuttall says the damage has been done and they are looking to move forward.
At the Good Roads Conference in Toronto, Nuttall says a main priority is the reassessment of the Domtar Mill.
Nuttall says they have met with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, who didn’t hear about the situation until Friday.
He adds that Linda Jeffrey has said she will take it back to cabinet and see if they can find a resolution.
Nuttall notes that the best option would be for the government to put a stay on the decision until the Ministry can address the situation directly.
Another priority is funding for the underpass, which Nuttall says is ten per cent funding from the city, which equals out to 80-thousand, and the government will provide 800-thousand.
The conference wraps up Wednesday afternoon.
