Weyerhaeuser has temporarily curtailed operations at the Dryden mill.
The papermachine and converting areas will be down the next 7-days,
starting today.
Company Spokesperson Bonnie Skene says the company has minimized the
impact on employees.
Skene says there won’t be any layoffs as the mill will adjust its
maintenance schedule to work on several projects that were coming up.
The kraftmill and steam plant will continue to run and Skene expects
operations to resume as normal on February 12th.
