Dryden Mill Fire

An investigation into Tuesday’s fire at the Dryden Weyerhaeuser Mill is underway.
The blaze broke out around 1:30 at the Lime Kiln portion of the structure.
Dryden and Weyerhaeuser Fire Crews contained the blaze after it spread to the roof of the Kiln.
Mill Manager Norm Bush says no one was injured and production is expected to continue as normal.
The blaze caused considerable damage however the extent and the cause are not known at this time.
The fire is the second in a week at the Dryden Mill as last Monday a blaze broke out at the Softwood Reclaimer causing some damage.
