The Dryden and District Museum is on the receiving end of some new funding.
The Museum is receiving a $5000 grant from the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund through the Department of Canadian Heritage.
The money will be used to repair the walls in the temporary exhibit space, install a hanging rail system and reupholster the temporary walls.
Museum Advisory Board Chair Pat Rigey says once the walls are refurbished, they will no longer be putting unnecessary damage into the walls.
Rigey also says the new hanging system is flexible enough to allow hangings of every shape and size.
The Museum is also inviting the public today from 1 to 3pm to check out the renovations
