A routine traffic stop turned ugly for a Dryden Police officer
Tuesday afternoon.
Police pulled over a truck on Government Street and an investigation
found the driver was suspended and did not have the proper insurance papers.
As the officer was filling out paperwork for the offence, the driver
left the vehicle on 2-occassions and yelled obscenities and threw a cup of
coffee on the officer.
Police say Norma Machimity of Dryden faces 4-charges including
assaulting police and breach of probations.
Machimity is in custody.
