Dryden OPP Seize Illegal Drugs and Weapons

Four men from Quebec face a total of 58-weapon and drug related charges following a traffic stop on Highway 17 just outside Dryden.
OPP stopped a speeding vehicle and located narcotics, several firearms and a handgun with ammunition readily available.
Police also seized a long gun with the serial number defaced.
40-year-old Stewart Conway, 34-year-old Alan Harrington, 49-year-old Leo Lazore and 43-year-old Robert Gabriel all face 5-counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm and 5-counts of being an occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm.
Other charges include possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm with altered serial number, possession of a restricted or prohibited weapon and knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon.
All 4-men remain in custody.
