Provincial Police in Dryden are welcoming a new Detachment Commander.
Inspector Adam Illman has been promoted to the job.
Illman has more than 25 years experience and comes to Dryden from Kenora.
He most recently completed a secondment with Treaty Three Police.
Illman has spent time policing in Grassy Narrows, Wabasemoong, Sioux Lookout, Pikangikum and with the Lac Seul Police Service.
OPP say he is passionate about supporting members and looks forward to building relationships with a shared vision for collaborative safety and well-being in the communities served.
